4 Easy Steps for Volunteering
Volunteering through United Way NCA is a great way to give back and meet your peers. Help address some of the most important issues facing our community today.
Step 1: Submit Your Request
Our team handles each request with quality customer service. We request a minimum of 4 – 6 weeks before your desired date(s). Please allow at least 8 weeks of planning for multiple projects or large-scale events.
Step 2: Receive Project Confirmation
Once Your Project is Submitted, You Will See a Confirmation Page.
Once our team matches you with an activity, we will coordinate with you on next steps.
Step 3: Recruit Your Team
Assign a company team leader to communicate volunteer assignments, details about the project, attire, directions, etc. to employees. Be sure to recruit the number of volunteers needed for your particular project! Before you participate in a volunteer project, please complete the volunteer acknowledgement and release.
Step 4: Complete Your Project
After you’ve completed a project with us, our team will follow up within 3 business days with the team leader for feedback. We value and welcome any comments you may have to help improve our services.
- SUBMISSION OF THIS FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE PROJECT APPROVAL.
- Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for scheduling kit and meal packing projects.
- At this time, we are NOT able to schedule projects during the following months: January (2019) and May (2019).
